In this episode of trading with MISS FX, we’ve decided that LESS is MORE! I’ve studied my pairs to a higher degree to see how I can spend less time in unnecessary drawdown and had a grand awakening! Mondays and Thursdays (occasionally Fridays) are the best times for me to be in my trades. So you know what I do from now now and just did this week!? Enter around 3-4a Asian / London on Monday held and exited before NY open on Tuesday. Secured my profit and went on about my Tuesday and Wednesday with 0 entries (discipline frrr because I had the urge too). When Thursday rolled around tho, I entered again around 12am and exited after 10 hours. Receiving my payout soon!!! I can feel it (OFFI

Overall, I have my system down to a science when it comes to entering and managing risk in day trades. Every trade from last week was secured or closed before major pull back (which allowed me to lose less). To God be all the glory tho. He has helped me place less emphasis on quick profit and more on patient strategy. Ended the week 7/8/9 hundred in profit while only risking 3. Next step is incorporating my swings back into my trading since the beginning of the week, I’d rather hold until it reaches a major level and secure partial profit as it goes along. Outside of trading, this is my last week living in DC as a by product of my undergrad career at Howard! I’m a whole alumna out here which means it’s time to let go in order to receive. 1 Corinthians 13:11 says when I was a child…. I thought as a child so I will put away childish things and step into His will for my life. Lets get it 😇

Week 2 of June was very eventful: not only did I end with $1.7k in profit and progress towards completing my @toptier.trader $100k challenge but I also had amazing bonding time with family! It was the end of my time in Chicago for the summer and the beginning of life in DC before I make my transition out of the district. So thankful God has blessed me with family and skill. As a trader, graduating from college isn’t a common practice because you don’t need a degree to make money from your phone. Many drop out or never end up going. However, I saw value in both. Graduating from Howard University was a beautiful accomplishment because it taught me indispensable life skills. It also allowed me to rub shoulders with rising legends on the Hilltop. As an alumna, more space and time will be spent on my true love and passion in life. 1. Become VERYYYY intentional with how you speak to yourself and what you train your mind to believe. Practice normalizing “wild dreams” and whatever you want to do, times it by 3. You are probably thinking wayyy too small
2. Whatever you want to manifest requires a better version of yourself so: Make a list of your strengths and weaknesses + learn how to turn your weaknesses into strengths. I’ve read books and practiced throughout my day to day. Still am. Be comfortable with the uncomfortable first
3. Decide on one skill that is going to allow you to generate a surplus of revenue without you inputting manual labor and unbalanced time into it in the long run, even if you are in college for a career that does require it. Time is money. The sooner you understand that the better

Working in New York, interning for Bloomberg LP in finance, is a huge opportunity! Who would have the audacity to quit?

One thing that I value above all else is my time. I actually should’ve quit a good 2 weeks before I made the official decision, but I had someone convince me not too… and that was mistake #1. In the past I would be afraid of what other people would say about my life or allow others to make decisions for me, but I’ve let go of that fear and taken control of my life again.

I know myself and what I want out of this life. Once I feel my time is being wastefully spent, I disengage… become uninterested… so I had to quit: to protect my reputation, peace, own up to my truth.

2. You have nothing to prove
3. Don’t have to tell people who you are because people will see it
