Brianna admires the transformative impact content creation had on her life around the age of 18 and feels it is only right to curate a safe space for other young learners to do the same, fearlessly. This is where her channel, Brianna "MISS FX" Pickett, stemmed from.

Brianna Pickett, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, embarked on her wealth journey at the remarkable age of 18, during the peak of COVID-19. While the world stood still, Brianna chose to elevate herself. A firm believer in the power of wealth, especially as a Black woman, she immersed herself in learning about passive income. She focused on: long-term stock market investing through Acorns and Webull; short-term foreign exchange investing by initially trading such GBPJPY and GBPAUD (thanks to Swaggy C); and, pursuing entrepreneurship as a graphic designer while learning the ropes of her family business, Brian P. Pickett's Funeral Home. At the same time, she sought to become more spiritually grounded and health-conscious through meditation and transforming her diet overnight, by becoming a pescatarian.

During her time at Howard University, Brianna realized that her unique approach to self-awareness, wealth, and personal growth was eccentric. Inspired, she set out to share the vision that God had given her for the world. Thus, The Golden Hugh was born. The name was inspired by her reign as Miss Black and Gold for the brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, Beta Chapter. Cheers to a journey of holistic wealth and empowerment!

The Golden Hugh, initially named The Yellow Hugh, was conceived by Brianna Pickett, Founder, and CEO, as a means to master personal finance, investing, and entrepreneurship to achieve success as a multi-millionaire, while guiding her community in doing the same. As she delved deeper, however, she discovered that true understanding extended far beyond physical and digital capital, which merely serve as tools to an end. In order for her to truly be fulfilled, she needed a deeper acquisition of wealth that extended to a physical, mental, and most importantly, spiritual level.

Her journey, which began long before her matriculation at Howard University, took a transformative turn in an Advanced Public Speaking course led by one of her all time favorite professors during her life time - Dr. Richard Wright. Her experience in his class ignited a latent flame within her, one that aimed to uplift those who sought wealth but did not know the journey needed to attract it. Drawing from her upbringing, Brianna understood the opportunities that physical and digital capital could unlock for the people. Yet, her wisdom revealed that the spiritual and mental battles often derailed the positive intentions behind the pursuit of wealth; doubt, worry, and fear even got a hold of her as well. So she instead overcame her own mental and spiritual challenges, transformed perceived failures, inadequacies, and fears into strengths, and found spiritual beauty in the journey itself.

Now, Brianna shares this transformation through The Golden Hugh, dedicated to dismantling mental, spiritual, and financial barriers. To truly elevate and believe in the will that God has entrusted us with, we must rise above, like many wise leaders, and overcome. Her mission is to help others find their resting place in the spiritual journey, just as she has found hers.
